Terms of Service

Last updated October 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of Nocville’s website, hosted virtual offices, desktop apps, and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Accounts and team authority

You must be at least 13 and legally able to accept these terms, or have the permission required by law. If you use Nocville for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Team owners and administrators control invitations, membership, and team settings. Only connect systems, grant permissions, or share content you are authorized to use.

What Nocville provides

Nocville is a collaborative virtual office and a visual layer for team activity. It is not an emergency service, a guaranteed alert-delivery system, or a substitute for your primary monitoring and incident-management tools. Status updates and alerts may be delayed, unavailable, or automatically removed. Keep independent backups and operational records where you need them.

Features may change, and preview features may be incomplete. We may apply reasonable usage limits to protect availability and manage costs.

Acceptable use

Use Nocville lawfully and respect other participants. Do not:

  • Harass others, distribute unlawful content, or infringe another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
  • Upload malware, steal credentials, gain unauthorized access, or bypass access controls or usage limits.
  • Disrupt the service, send unsolicited bulk messages, or use its relay or hosting resources for unrelated traffic.
  • Record or share another person’s communications without the permissions required by applicable law.

Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, store, transmit, and display it to deliver the service and carry out your instructions. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content or give us access to encryption keys that your deployment does not provide.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to share your content. Public submissions, including NPC library contributions, may have additional publication or license terms presented when you submit them. Nocville software and artwork remain subject to their applicable licenses and ownership rights.

Privacy and key recovery

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Choose your sharing settings carefully: participants can copy content they receive. Where device-held encryption is enabled, your team must protect and back up its recovery material. Losing the necessary keys can make content permanently inaccessible, and we cannot promise to recover it.

Integrations and customer-owned hosting

Third-party integrations, hosting, email, and payment services have their own terms and availability. You are responsible for the permissions you grant to connect them.

If you deploy Nocville into your own Cloudflare account, you control and pay for that infrastructure, including usage charges. You are responsible for account security, provider subscriptions, configuration, updates, backups, and compliance for that deployment. An installer’s authorization only permits the actions you approve; disconnecting the installer or stopping use of Nocville does not automatically remove resources or stop provider charges. Review and remove unwanted resources in your provider account.

Paid plans

If we offer a paid plan, its price, billing interval, renewal terms, and applicable limits will be shown before purchase. Recurring charges require your agreement to the checkout terms. Cancellation and refund conditions will be disclosed with the plan, subject to your rights under applicable law. These terms alone do not authorize a charge or enroll you in a subscription.

Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Nocville at any time and contact us about account deletion. Team owners manage team access and team deletion. We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, security risks, violations of these terms, or legal requirements. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Export information you need before leaving or deleting a team. Content availability and deletion are subject to the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy. Ending hosted access does not cancel separate third-party subscriptions.

Availability and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for decisions made using status displays or other service information.

To the extent permitted by law, Nocville is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date on this page and provide notice of material changes as required by law. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the service and cancel any applicable plan.
